Great place to stay for a weekend at Notre Dame! Able to walk to campus, Eddy St and Trader Joe’s. Apartment was spotless, with high end finishes and incredible attention to detail. Loved the Notre Dame touches throughout! Wes was readily available to answer any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Wes's place was the perfect home away from home for our trip to South Bend for a Notre Dame Football weekend! The location cannot be beat - the neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and just down the street from campus. We walked to and from campus and also to the Trader Joe's just around the corner. Eddy St. is very close in proximity as well - so you can even walk to restaurants and bars too. The attention to detail in this apartment was incredible - clearly much thought and care went into it. Everything is high-end - from the appliances to the furniture to the Brooklinen towels and luxury bedding. I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, but none of them were as well-stocked as this place. And everything was Notre Dame themed, which was the cherry on top for a great visit to Notre Dame! As a host, Wes was always responsive and available for anything we needed, from the moment we booked the place. Would 100% stay here again and recommend this place to anyone coming to South Bend!

We had an amazing stay at the Golden Dome Retreat. Wes was great to work with and always available. The place itself is beautiful, everything from the decor to the bath towels. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you, Wes!

Location

Enjoy unbeatable convenience at 744 N Notre Dame Ave—right on South Bend’s vibrant Link Trail, a scenic 1.5‑mile walking and biking path opened in Nov 2024 connecting downtown to Notre Dame  . The neighborhood boasts excellent walkability and bike-friendliness, with sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes blending seamlessly into the trail. The Transpo Route 7 bus stops just outside at Notre Dame & Howard, departing approximately every 30–37 minutes on weekdays (6 AM–9:30 PM) and hourly on Saturdays—it runs Monday through Saturday, closing on Sundays . All Transpo buses include bike racks, making multi-modal travel easy . Visitors and students enjoy free rides with ND ID, and the system is praised for its reliability and cleanliness, with riders noting schedules are typically honored within a five-minute window . For nights or Sundays, ride‑share options like Uber or Lyft offer a flexible fallback. It’s the ideal base for exploring campus, downtown, and beyond—whether you’re walking, biking, or riding in comfort.
